Grant Eligibility

Who can apply?

  • SME Manufacturing companies based in the North East Local Enterprise Partnership (NELEP) area.

SME Definition:

  • Employ <250 person (FTE is based on 36 hrs, part time should be counted on a pro rata basis)
  • Annual Turnover < or = 50 million Euro (£45m approx.)
    Or
  • +/- Balance Sheet total < or = 43 million Euro (£39m approx.)

Manufacturing Business:

  • A manufacturing business is any business that uses components, parts or raw materials to make a finished good. These finished goods can be sold directly to consumers or to other manufacturing businesses that use them for making a different product.
